1990

  • Bilin founders graduate from university in 1981 and work as consultants and managers in international organizations.
  • Bilin is formally Established in 1990.

1991 - 1995

  • Bilin starts providing subcontracted IT management consulting services to PRICE WATERHOUSE Turkey's customers.
  • Bilin becomes MICROSOFT’s Solution Provider.
  • HUMANIST Version 1.0 was developed on Microsoft environment, supporting MICROSOFT’s SQL database environment.
  • HUMANIST was announced to market with MICROSOFT Turkey’s support.
  • Bilin implements the first version of HUMANIST in LAFARGE Turkey.
  • HUMANIST Version 2.0 is developed and Bilin implements HUMANIST in ARÇELİK, Turkey’s international household applicances manufacturer.

1996 - 2000

  • Bilin becomes ORACLE’s solution partner and HUMANIST starts supporting ORACLE databases in addition to MICROSOFT SQL.
  • HUMANIST’s first FoxPro ISAPI services based web interface was developed and implemented for self service applications.
  • HUMANIST versions 3.0, 4.0 and 4.5 are in the market. First competency library, competency based performance evaluation and goals based performance appraisal implementations are realised.
  • 22 new members join HUMANIST users family from industries like banking, automobile manufacturing, construction, insurance, electronics manufacturing, household applicances, transportation, and cosmetics.
  • Beko Ticaret (Recent Zer A.Ş.), a Koç Holding service company starts using HUMANIST to provide central outsource HR and software services (SaaS) to Koç Holding companies.

2001 - 2005

  • HUMANIST Web Interface was migrated to MICROSOFT’s .NET environment and Bilin’s .NET development framework receives Veritest Certification.
  • HUMANIST versions 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, and 6.5 are in the market.
  • 44 new large enterprises from banking, automotive, fmcg, distribution and pharmaceuticals join HUMANIST's happy users family.
  • Large groups and enterprises like ECZACIBAŞI, FİNANSBANK, NESTLE, and OYAKBANK prefer HUMANIST against globally accepted HR applications of SAP and ORACLE.
  • HUMANIST becomes the most preferred HCM application among large Turkish banks. 6 of the largest 10 banks (ZIRAAT BANK, HALKBANK, IS BANK, FINANSBANK (NBG), OYAKBANK (ING) and DENIZBANK (DEXIA and later SBERBANK)) start using HUMANIST.
  • HUMANIST becomes the most preferred HCM application among automobile manufacturers. RENAULT and HONDA start using HUMANIST in addition to FIAT TOFAS and FORD OTOSAN in TUrkey.
  • T. HALKBANK, a 20,000 employee bank has been the first state capital bank, collecting timekeeping data over the web, calculating payroll centrally, and distributing individual payroll results and branch summaries over the web.
  • In DENIZBANK, where Humanist's Learning and Development portal is implemented, a 98.8% user satisfaction index has been achieved as a result of a user survey.

2006 - 2010

  • HUMANIST versions 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5 are in the market.
  • 58 new members join HUMANIST's happy users family.
  • HUMANIST starts providing multilanguage support which enables Bilin's international clients decide to collect and manage all the HR data in different subsidiaries in different countries in a single database.
  • With the HUMANIST implementations of ALLIANZ, ANADOLU HAYAT, ERGO and GROUPAMA, HUMANIST becomes the most preferred HCM application among insurance companies, too. 
  • Many HUMANIST user companies with over 10,000 employees succeed to spread their HR operations over the whole organisation and start running their web based HR workflow applications using HUMANIST systems that dynamically identifies supervisors and subordinates based on real-time organisation structure data.
  • HUMANIST becomes the first Turkish integrated HR software implementing Balanced Scorecard approach in its goals based performance management module.

2011 - ...

  • HUMANIST versions 9.0 and 9.5 are in the market.
  • Around 50 new members join HUMANIST's happy users family.
  • BAYER, an internationally operating German company prefers HUMANIST in their Turkish HR operations.
  • ARAS Cargo company implements HUMANIST and spreads her HR operations into her more than 1.000 agents, speeding up timekeeping, payroll, recruitment, administration, training and performans appraisal processes.
  • Bilin starts working on a new groundbreaking web based framework and starts deploying all of the Windows based HUMANIST modules over this framework.
  • Bilin applies for and receives a TUBITAK fund for the development of the new framework.

  • Bilin continues to work heavily on developing HUMANIST further to keep up with technological and business improvements both in IT and HCM fields.
  • Bilin and her customers are sharing their continually growing knowledge and experience to improve the software and practices to add more value to the economy and fields of expertise.
